![]() ![]() Bitdefender Premium VPN provides servers in over 45 regions across the globe. Start with the country you are currently in. Therefore, as a first troubleshooting method, if you can’t view a website with the VPN on, connect to a few different VPN servers from the list of available locations. But if you go to a site whose content isn’t available in Sweden, you won’t be able to access that specific site.Ĭonnecting to another Bitdefender VPN server Now, all websites will think that you access the Internet from Sweden. What does that mean? For instance, if you live in the USA and you connect Bitdefender VPN to the Sweden server, an IP corresponding to that country will be assigned to your device. Geo-blocking is done by identifying an IP address. Step 1 – Connect to another Bitdefender VPN serverĬertain websites practice geo-blocking as a way of limiting access to their content based on geographical location. Here’s everything you can try to resolve the issue after finding out that you can’t access a particular webpage when Bitdefender VPN is active: If the site loads properly in this situation, you know it’s the VPN that is causing the issue. I would love to prevent having to buy a Windows licence for a virtual machine, set that shit up, get a code-signing key and invest even more time I will never get back into supporting this backward, extortionist non-free platform. ![]() If anyone has experience in this field, please let me know. I probably don't want that to have my code signing (private) key. This will also slow down the release cycle, since currently the builds are handled by an external service. ![]() ![]() Already had an offer of some(one/company) paying for (part of) the MS code signing certificate fees. I might be interested in signing the code, application and installer, but I'm not willing to invest much time into finding out which hoops I have to jump through to have this app be "trusted" on the Windows platform. Since I have not used Windows in the last 15 years, I know very little about it's security-through-nagging systems and popular on-access blacklist and sometimes-heuristics-based pseudo-security applications. I have not heard about bullguard, is it a popular computer-slow-down-application? Windows warns about the file because I don't pay the Microsoft Maffia code signing cert and it's not a popular enough app to be included default. ![]()
